The cabins not serviced properly, the mattress protectors and blankets are dirty, as is the furniture. Broken window above the bed. Weeds growing in front of the front steps. We left within an hour and went elsewhere.

Negatives are: facilities are very run down, the owners have not invested much in the roads or amenities for decades.

Not really a tourist park except for the cabins and a small area for powered sites. Most of the residents are impoverished locals who rent run down old caravans. It's good they have somewhere, though.

On Thursday mornings they have a meeting area for all within the park to come together for tea, coffee, cake. The salvation army are there to provide assistance to those in need, counselling, doctors and fruit and vegetables for anyone to help themselves. Also phone cards of $5 value are given out for the public phones, food vouchers, help with bills and simply to bring the community together for feedback.

I find the staff to always be available no matter what time of the day, they have an intercom which goes straight to their residence. Carrie and Craig are extremely down to earth approachable family people who manage, run and maintain the park for the owner Greg. They are more than helpful going above and beyond to meet your residential needs and tourism needs. If something needs fixing they always have a solution, if the lawn needs mowing it's done, the amenities are constantly being updated and issues fixed. If work is going to be done and the electricity will be out or the water off there is always a notice on the board outside of the office. Their children mingle with children within the caravan park. I've lived here for 6 years now without any major issues besides an odd leak which is fixed, they've given me a reference stating what a fantastic tenant I am and I am always welcome to return if needed. They provided me with their personal number in case I feel frightened or feel there is an issue they need to check out, I've only required this number during storms.

I'm a student in hospitality diploma of business at college and they are even open to me doing some volunteer work to gain some hands on experience and skills.

Stayed at this park in August 2012. Never again. Worst park we have ever stayed at. Thankful we had our own toilet & shower as amenities were disgusting.
